Making a good soup great


Ever wonder what to do with the inner leaves of celery?

Most of us think the leaves of celery are a waste of time and end up throwing away this savory delicate flavor enhancer. The tender inner leaves are worth using, as it is an easy way to make a good soup even better.


Wash the leaves as you are cleaning the rest of the celery stalks and place them aside. As you are chopping the stalks to add to the soup, tear off a few small stalks, 2 or 3, and add to the soup at the same time as the chopped celery.
